I just got home from a winery and no sooner than I walked into my house does the phone ring and I answer it...and it's ... yes, a McCain call (IM in VA)

After a couple bullshit questions.

They ask who I've decided to vote for,

I say, "Yes, I believe I am going to vote for Barack Obama"

She (it's a female) asks me if I would consider another option? That's what she said.

I asked, "what option would that be?" (Im baiting kids)

NOW get this...she DID NOT mention McCain....

She went into this commentary about Obama..how he votes against the troops bla bla bla.

I LET her talk for a good 30 seconds and SHE NEVER mentioned John MCCain, only how bad Obama was.

So I then said, "Ok I get it...Barack Obama is the devil...so who should I vote for?"

(she must not have heard how I was egging her on)

It was at that point she went into her pro-McCain speech.

This is when I got ugly....

I said, "well...I have to be honest. I am going to do everything I can to keep you fuckers out of office."

Goodnight...the phone was, of course, hung up right after I said 'office'...

I just had to pass this on. I didn't even get to call Palin a Nazi and it still felt really great.

My wife said she gets these calls all the time and just hangs up...I so wanted one.

So I was gonna play along and she didn't say a damn friggin thing about McLame...just trashed Obama.

I was cool as a cuke though because I was off work today and my wife and I went to a winery and had a couple glasses of Cab Franc and I get really easy going sometimes when Im drinking.

I've happily flown under the radar of McCain callers so far. But if I did get one of those calls, I'd pretty much do the same thing: keep asking questions and hold them on the line as long as possible, to help keep them from getting to someone else whose vote they might get.

I'd start off by asking obvious questions, like what McCain is going to do for the economy. When they ran out of talking points on those topics, I'd keep going down to more and more obscure issues, like:

I'm four feet nine inches tall. What is McCain going to do for people like me?

I immigrated from Antarctica. Will McCain's reform policy lower the quota of people who can come to America from my homeland?

As we speak, thousands of parrots are being fed bird seed from South America that is potentially infested with Salmonella. Did McCain address this issue during his last trip to Colombia?

I heard of a guy who's developing a car that runs on urine. What is McCain going to do to help him?

Marx and Hitler knew that the key to propaganda was to target youth. When McCain talks about Obama's socialist policies, why doesn't he mention all those blatantly socialist school lunch programs?

Where are you now, and why does my Caller ID say this connection is coming from Damascus?

I get upset when I call a home and it is a McCain supporter who is nasty. There is just no reason for you to be this way to the other side. McCain's campaign blows big time. But I do not think you should take that out on a volunteer.
