If McCain was going to release any new slime, today would have been the day to do it: right after Obama sold himself in his infomercial, and nobody wants to wait until Friday to release anything. Monday is too late according to conventional political wisdom.

So I think it's a very good sign that nothing new has been released today- it's hard to imagine what McCain could say or do now to change the race.

2. ABC News is doing it for him
With their insanely irresponsible "what if Bin Laden releases a tape" speculation.

3. Speculation isn't a story, even a tape would be a yawner- bin Laden is old news

5. Friday will be the day
Fux Noise is running the "LA Times wont release that photo we desperately need" non stop today.

Probably hoping to pressure a weekend release.

6. There's no way the LA Times can release the tape now- with their stated reason
being protecting the confidentiality of a source. That's sacrosanct for a newspaper.

9. Fux (I like that, BTW - nice work) can do whatever it wants...
the swing voters ain't watching them anymore. Their ratings have been slipping for a reason. Therefore, IMHO Fux could show a CGI-scripted video of Obama naked at an Al Qaeda bachelor party and it wouldn't make a difference. The only ones watching that POS channel are those who think dumbass Palin is a true patriot.

15. I thought it was released on October 29th?
Starting tomorrow, they'd only have 4 days for it to come out.

10. No
They are all geared up for their bin laden message. Perhaps they will even blow up a couple of dozen more Pakistani houses complete with occupants on the off chance that one of them is Dr Evil himself.

Then we have the possibility that they will actually try a legal challenge to the results on Wednesday, even if Obama has the landslide he seems to be headed for.

Plus, they have unleashed the loons. Where is that going to go? Do they all go back on the leash Nov 5?

16. Well, Fox may be running with it, but I believe even Lou Dobbs said this was too much.
It seems to be working about as well as Ayers did, and they have less time to do it in.

14. They are holding their collective breath and tuning blue in the face.
Next, they will go stiff as a board and fall straight back on what ever is there. My little brother used to do that when he got mad. It didn't work then and it won't work now.

They have whined and boohooed crocodile tears way too much. They are pathetic and have outed themselves as a nasty bunch of tantrumming babies.

17. Be vigilent!
It's entirely possible that they're about out of anything that could gain attention. The Khalidi thing is stupid. They were hoping for more, but people are getting immune to all this shouting "fire" in the movie theater.

Of course, this seems to be the same shitty ad that was released a few days ago, so I'm not that worried.

for this week and prior to the election. Stick a fork in 'em, they're done.

Now we just need record turn-out at the polls and we win. :)
