Cal Thomas (and others on the right) are now fretting about what it will be like to have Democrats controlling both the the White House and the Congress. My heart just bleeds for them. What Thomas's debate opponent is forgetting to mention is that we have been putting up with Republican rule for most of the past eight years. You didn't hear Thomas griping about that, now did you? You didn't hear him listening to our concerns about a Republican government run amock with its taking away of civil liberties, its support of torture, its spending like a drunken sailor, its militarism, and its abysmal handling of the economy which has landed us in the territory of economic meltdown? Now to mention a foreign policy that can most charitably be described as "bizarre." Yeah, I'm real interested in listening for their concerns right now. :eyes:

Cal was talking several years ago about the need for conservative fundies to stop trying to use political means to change society and find other ways to go about it. So much for that idea. :eyes:
