Poll question: Who best encapsulates the sorry state of the GOP today?
If you had to pick a person who embodied all that was wrong, evil, corrupt, and just plain stupid about today's Republican party, who would you pick?

1. I chose Sarah Palin because you said "today"
I think she not only embodies all that is "wrong, evil, corrupt, and just plain stupid about today's Republican party", but she is perhaps the most dangerous new element that the Republican Party has to offer.

4. They're all pretty much guilty, but I had to go with Grandpa McCrazy
Since he's currently the Republican "standard bearer". And in doing so, he's proving that the Repukes have no standards left at all.

6. Hannity
He really is typical. Trying to force issues that no one cares about. Flying off the handle angrily whenever things don't go his way. Generally being mean spirited and completely out of touch with every day Americans.

7. Hannity because he blabs and blabs in open defiance of truth.
Also very selfish and self-satisfied. Believes he deserves his great wealth.

8. For today, Palin. I think that her selection as VP was for many GOPers a jump the shark moment.
You could see it coming in 1998-99 when George was being interviewed and denying he had "decided" to run. Then again with McCain dropping out so suddenly. Perhaps George's jump the shark moment was declaring victory in Iraq after landing on the aircraft carrier. That was pathetic. But, the Palin moment...that showed CHAOS and DESPERATION written large. These are indeed interesting times we live in.
