Reverse Bradley effect?
I am hopeful that people really will vote their pocketbooks this year. A lot of people who say they are for McCain will get into the booth and decide that they want a bigger tax cut and better health insurance.

1. I'm thinking that as well
There are a lot of people who would never admit voting for Obama to their family and friends, but what you do in that booth is secret. I think this may explain so many "undecideds" in the polls this late in the game with so many clear-cut discrepancies.

2. I've been saying that for a month now.
I think it should be called The Obama Effect.

He plans to vote for Obama because he's in his late 60s and is losing his retiree health benefits. He previously voted for Bush twice.

5. What I've been thinking . . a dynamic that will play out in Red/Racist areas
where people may not want to admit they will be voting for a black guy.

Obama's a Poitier/Peyton/Billy Dee Williams, I don't think race is going to be an issue behind the curtain.

8. Yep! I think there are lots of repukes who are afraid to admit to their repuke friends
that they wanna give Obama a chance, but they'll pick him in the voting booth.

9. I call that The Republican Desertion Effect.
I'll bet a lot of Republicans who wouldn't admit it to their friends will go ahead and Vote Dem.

I hope they'll think about McLiar singing BombBombBomb and realize they'd rather not have another trillion dollar war to enrich Republican War Profiteers.
