The voter gave a good answer but it got me thinking what an incorrect question that was. Obama is not black. He's mulatto. Yet, right now, for all political purposes, he is black. How different would public perception be of him if he looked 25 percent whiter/lighter? Or even 25% blacker/darker. All those news stories questioning whether Obama was black enough for African-American voters -- they seem like they're from ages ago. I am thrilled that black voter turnout is about to set records. I always knew this election would be referendum on race. And it is. I do think we are turning a corner.

1. So did they ask a white guy voting for McCain if he did it because he's white?
I would hope so otherwise they are just fucking one sided assholes.

7. Just so you know, "mulatto" is an extremely dergatory and offensive word
From the tone of your post, I know you didn't mean anything mean and/or bad about it....just lending my experience ont it....it's kind of like calling someone "colored."

With that said, it's BS that the reporter asked that. I wonder if ONE reporter anywhere would have the nerve to ask a white person if they were voting for McCain just BECAUSE Obama is black (meaning because they are racist and could never vote for a black man, as we have seen for ourselves in some of these videos from rallies)
