McCain lie: Obama said he'll "try again in four years" if he loses.

Charlie Gibson asked Obama, what if you lose?

Obama: "I’m a relatively young man. You know, they say there’s no second acts in politics, but you know, I think there are enough exceptions out there that I think I could envision returning to the Senate, and just doing some terrific work with the next President and the next Congress."

McCain lie: "Last night, Senator Obama said that if he lost he would return to the Senate and try again in four years for the second act. That sounds like a great idea to me. Let's help him make it happen!"


Obama said his second would be trying to do "terrific work" in the Senate, not running for president again.
