DU has spoken. Obama is predicted to gain 1.35 points as a result of the infomercial.
This figure is based on a poll taken before the infomercial was presented in which DUers were asked to predict the size of Obama's bump attributable to his half-hour ad.

112 people participated. The modal guess was 2 points, with 35 of the 112 making this guess.
Participants ranged in their guesses from 12 people who said they thought Obama would actually lose ground due to the infomercial, to one brave soul who thought he would pick up 5 points.

Let's see how closely we came as a group.
