Dem Rick Noreiga is within 6 pts of Cornyn in Texas. He may benefit from an Obama surge, and hispanic vote, even if Obama does not carry Texas.

Would be nice to take out a Repub Senator from Texas.

IF you live there, what is your take?

1. Probably won't happen.
Obama's down by about ten points in Texas, and Cornyn is throwing a ton of money into advertising. Unfortunately, I suspect that he'll hold on to his seat.

2. Agreed.
I don't watch much TV, but when I do, I've only seen the Cornyn (Wearing of course a big cowboy hat) advertisement.

4. The funny thing I've noticed about Cornyn's ads....
None of them identify him by party. In fact, very few of the ads running here in Central Texas identify any of the Republican candidates by party.

Running from Bush, are we? :)

3. Well there is always the possibility that between now and election day ....
... Cornyn will screw up on his own.

5. Obama spend money in Texas!
With Obama and his campaign having so much money... he should spend a day in Texas.

7. Noriega is a great guy
I hope he wins, just does not have the money to compete with that asshole. i mean who knows, things change. cornyn has been a terrible senator, has done nothing for us like most repubs. things are changing in texas though, could not believe how many dems showed up for the primaries :) it was cool
