OBAMA, MCCAIN TO APPEAR ON MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
OBAMA, MCCAIN TO APPEAR ON MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
Posted by Michael David Smith on October 30, 2008, 10:18 a.m. EDT

In the final hours before the polls open on Tuesday, Barack Obama and John McCain will make a final appeal to football fans.

ESPN has announced that both Obama and McCain will be interviewed during halftime of the Monday Night Football game between the Redskins and Steelers.

Chris Berman will interview both candidates separately. The interviews will be taped during the day on Monday and will air at halftime.

This isn’t the first time ESPN has interviewed Obama and McCain; Obama appeared with Stuart Scott in August and McCain was interviewed by Bob Ley in September.

1. Will they be holding footballs?

McCain holds a football like he's holding a baby for the camera.

3. Obama looks like he's about to go long...
McCain looks like he's holding a loaf of bread.

4. Interesting body language in these pix
Obama's holding it like he's about to throw it. McCain is holding is very passively, like he doesn't know what to do with it now that it's in his hands.

12. Actually, the history is that if the skins lose, the challenging party wins...though not in 2004

14. Steelers need to win
And as a Cowboy fan, that really pains me. When the skins win the game before the election, the incumbent party wins the election. When they lose, the opposition party wins the election
