I just saw that "Godless" ad of Elizabeth Dole's.
That is the WORST, most disgusting political ad I've ever seen.

What was even more disgusting were the words "I'm Elizabeth Dole and I approved this ad".

This woman, putting her name on this slanderous ad, is completely, morally unfit to be a United States Senator. I hope the good people of North Carolina will throw her sorry ass out of the Senate next Tuesday. I'd say shame on Elizabeth Dole, except it's obvious she has no shame.

1. I was happy to read Hagan's filing or has filed a cease and desist order...

2. It was absolutely sickening, wasn't it? I saw yesterday that she is up in the
polls currently. I hope they are wrong. She is disgusting.

4. I expect the "church-state separation" folks to weigh in on it...
This is way over the line. Even if it were true...even implying a religious test for office is against the spirit of the "American way." Note, however, that NC is one of those states that (apparently...as far as I know) still have discrimination built into their Constitutions;

"Article 6 Sec. 8:
"Disqualifications of office. The following persons shall be disqualified for office: First, any person who shall deny the being of Almighty God...."
