I realize that Obama could easily get to White House without them, but still...it'd be nice. :)

2. That would be some icing!
It would take so much of the sting of having lost (or stolen) those states before...

Let's hope!

And work to make it so!

;)

4. At this point, I see Ohio and Florida as cake --
It's states like Missouri, North Carolina (and Arizona!) that are frosting now! :)

5. In one way it would be even better if he won WITHOUT THEM...
.. to bury that bullshit that 'no one can win without Ohio or Florida'

9. Winning Georgia or a Dakota state would be the icing.
I'm not necessarily buying the state polls and predictions out of Texas either.

But imagine if he wins those states and MS or AZ...that'd be the whip cream.

10. Not really... these states will likely be part of the new Dem majority. The icing
involves states like MT, ND, GA, and (in 2012 if not sooner) AZ

11. If Karma has its way, here are the states Obama will win -
1. All those "big states" he supposedly couldn't win; he's going to win them in landslides (CA, NY, NJ)
2. Those states with lots of hardworking white working class voters (Ohio, West Virginia, PA)
3. Florida, for what happened in 2000.
4. Indiana, for the way McCain dissed David Letterman.
5. Colorado, New Mexico, and Nevada - for the way McCain threw Latinos under the bus.
6. Tennessee - for Al Gore.
7. Georgia, for Max Cleland and other veterans dissed by McCain and the Republicans.
8. Alaska - for choosing a corrupt, egotistical, incompetent ideologue as VP and for playing the Hillary Clinton gender card.
9. And, as icing on the cake - Arizona.

Except for Tennessee & Alaska, I think Obama will win most of the states I've listed, and has a very good chance of winning Georgia and even Arizona.

13. I suppose
Though If I had my druthers, we would take every state except Utah(never liked it, and maybe then the GOP would all move there) Florida and Ohio (just to show them they ain't all that) and perhaps WV just to kill the "democrats can't win without taking WV" meme. Woodrow Wilson did it, and so can we. But I want the other 46. I am greedy that way.

15. I'm greedy - I want Arizona
I have a little flicker every now and then that my state, SC, might come to its senses, but that's pretty much lost this time around. So, I'll take Arizona as a consolation prize!
