*** OFFICIAL *** Obama-supporters Thread of Engloatenment !!! **********
Edited on Wed Oct-29-08 10:49 PM by smalll
We got this.
This is what a landslide looks like.
See this bag?

The election's in it!

And so to the nervous nellies, to the people who can't stand the supposed "supsense" of this last week -- I laugh in your general direction!

Solid national leads across the board, commanding leads state-by-state, the money gap, the enthusiasm gap, etc. etc. etc. --

Honestly, I have only one "concern" about election day -- that it may come too soon! Imagine if we had two or three weeks left (rather than less than one) -- how many more millions could Barack raise and spend (while McSame tootles along on (ahem) "public financing?" ) How many more hundreds of thousands would appear to hear him speak (while McSame speaks in gymnasiums, or cancels when it rains?) How many more times will Obama's cool remind people of JFK, while the Geezer/Dingbat ticket digs themselves even deeper and deeper?

The only fear, regret or concern I have about all this is that we don't have a few more extra weeks to turn even more states. Sure, we'll win Florida and Ohio and Virginia (and Colorado, and New Mexico, and Nevada) -- but I wanna win North Carolina, and Missouri, and the Dakotas, and Texas, etc. etc. etc...

Game over, WE WON!

(Honestly, I think all the DU-concern comes not so much to crypto-Freepers, but from lost souls from the "reform" psuedo-dungeon, who can't believe that Kerry actually lost four years ago, and who can't believe that a Democrat can actually win now!)

1. As long as there's electronic voting...
...this fat lady isn't singing until November 5th. (I'm humming a little, maybe, but that's it.)

GET OUT THE VOTE!!!

4. No troubles! I never had anything but fun here during the Primary Wars --
we all end up on the same side. (Plus, I get a new excuse to use that Brandi Chastain pic!)

5. Not yet.
It's not about gloating, it's about winning and changing the country and that's what we have to think about now.

7. Nope, it's not over till it's over.
I will be gloating may ass off (is that possible?) on NOv 5th. but not today nor tomorrow. As obama has said, again and again, we can't let up and we can't be complacent.

9. I'll wait to gloat
Good as I feel about this election, I prefer to wait. It's really the only sensible thing to do.

10. This is no time to gloat; it's the time to work harder
I wish people would spend more time volunteering for the GOTV push going on all states.

Work now, celebrate later.
