aaaargh! I think my friend just voted for McCain....

When she told me she went and voted early and encouraged me to vote early I sai, "I hope you voted for Obama." She got very snippy and said "I don't tell anyone how I vote." (In actuality - she's told me how she's voted in all the elections EXCEPT this one).

I have been working on her for 4 years to turn her from a "Republican" to a Democrat.

She voted for Clinton both times, Gore and Kerry and actually loves Kucinich. She had been born and raised a Republican so she always considered herself a Republican, however. I pointed out that she wasn't really a Republican anymore.

She was a Hillary supporter and then was leaning McCain. Then when McCain picked Palin - I thought she was going to vote for Obama. She was very concerned about Palin.

She didn't like the way Obama was in the first few debates against Hillary and never got over it - I guess.

I just hope she doesn't get in the habit of voting for Republicans again. If I would have known she was going to vote for McCain - I would have worked her a lot harder.
