4. I asked off for both the 4th and 5th; driving folks to the polls on the 4th,
and celebrating our country's FUTURE on the 5th!!
It'll be another independence day - I can't wait.

Election Night Party-- YOUR Help is Needed
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We're all looking forward to our Election Night Watch Party at XXXXXX Theatre. It will be a great time for Democrats to gather to celebrate the election of Barack Obama as President and also celebrate the victory of many Democrats locally.
Your help is needed to make this event a success, though! We need you to bring food to share with what we are expecting to be a large crowd. Prepare (or buy!) your favorite entree, side dish, or dessert and come ready to have a great night.
The party starts at 6:00 p.m. and will go until at least 11:00 p.m. that evening. The Murdock Theatre is located downtown on the corner of XXXXX and XXXXX
We also need volunteers to help us set up and clean up for this event. If you can help out, please e-mail me back ASAP!!
12. Me too NOLA Lady
Us retirees don't get no time off. Love shopping at Rouse's on Gause and perusing the fancy shmancy stuff at Garden Spot. We live south of Picayune over yonder.
EDIT: I have to work the afternoon of the 5th, but that's okay. I like my job! :)
25. Nope
I haven't called in sick to work in about 7 or 8 years. I was raised to go to work even if you feel crappy. I can't get over the guilt feelings of calling in sick when it's not true.
