As long as Obama wins easily, which I believe he will, I don't mind the pugs convincing themselves this thing is tied.

I knew Reagan was going to win big in 1980 but the fact that the polls were close going into the debate (which Reagan lost by any rational measure) made the loss feel cataclysmic. The Democratic Party was still in shock ten years later.

There are expected losses and then there are lacerating, shocking losses that make you question why you bother even bother having an opposition Party.

So if the nut-right wants to convince themselves they're heading for glory... go for it.

Then tell me it's tightening.

The only thing getting tighter might be the popular vote.

It's still a potential electorial vote landslide.
