Remember INTERNAL campaign polls are no where near accurate as polling firms
The McSane camp is saying the race is tightening EVERYWHERE but that's what campaign polls are supposed to say. Look at there action if the polls are tightening why the robo- calls in AZ.And why this new stupid ass ad saying Obama isn't ready YET.

2. McCain Ads
McCain is running ads in Louisiana, a supposedly solid red state. With the high early voter turnout in the AA community, I don't really think anyone will know if the polls are a true reflection of voter sentiment until election day.

3. Okay, well then that is precisely the opposite message I recall from reading here in 2004.
because the notion in 2004 was that internals were far more reliable than mainstream polling outfits.

5. And we see how that theory turned out
I've run internal polls before, trust me, they serve little purpose other then to make campaigns feel better.

8. Well, I just don't see how they can be so different from virtually every other independent pollster
maybe McCain is polling a higher percentage of republicans or using a different formula. Maybe the campaign is feeding him polls with a different formula which would have things closer just to keep his spirits up.

9. Especially from the incestuous Republican campaigns of recent years.
They don't listen well.
