Random Q -- anyone have the pic of Obama with the little poodle

And the background story? I think it was a puppy mill dog that was missing a leg?

Thanks in advance! I want to send it to a friend. :D

10. Excellent! Thank you.
I get all my canine furbabies from shelters or the Humane Society (don't have one now, looking for a new job so things are too chaotic to train a dog properly...like Obama LOL). I am thrilled that he sees puppy mills for what they are!

Again, thanks for the pic and the background. I can never have too much good news about my choice for President. :-)

Love the pic! Elmo and Simon rock.

I think my late Golden/Akita mix girl (left us in 2007) would approve, too. :-)

12. That is not a poodle.... it is a Bichon Frise.
Edited on Wed Oct-29-08 08:36 PM by RollWithIt
Just pointing that out. I grew up around them, my mother was a big fan. Extremely lovable and fairly dumb lap dogs. Good for families with kids. They were the favorite dog of the French aristocracy. Well, before they lost their heads.

Prepare for full onslaught from McCain campaign tomorrow... "Obama enemy of dogs everywhere, doesn't know his breeds!"

Google link to the breed:

17. Ya, we had a dog named Bouji
Pronounced BOOJEE. They really are a sweet dog. They're not athletic. They're not smart. But they are definitely lovable and cute. :-)

I own more athletic dogs as an adult. :-)
