I had a weird reaction to the Obamamercial...
...all of a sudden, I found myself thinking: "Man, I sure hope President Obama gets re-elected."

Honestly, after everything that's happened in the last 8 years, his presence is so comforting to me that I sometimes forget that he's not in charge...

...yet.

1. Me too. I forget because he is so calm and in control and seems like such
a natural leader. We all need to vote to make it happen.

He is One of US.

I love him like I would love a son, a dear cousin or friend's child.

I am bursting with pride because he makes the world a better place.

Fired Up!

11. I feel the same. Hope you don't mind me saying this but a year ago I started to pray to God about W
I asked God why he would let someone like that ruin our country. I wondered aloud if there was a plan to it all. My Mom and Sister would always say, "There is a plan for everything under heaven". Now that I look at it all I think how wondrous it is that a man named Barack Obama will be our next President! It is fascinating and shows that there is a reason to everything under heaven. We are our brothers keeper.

Is this the true start of the "age of Aquarius"?

18. I agree with you completely

It seems that at every turn in this race, the wind has been at his back.

When the Economy went sour I couldn't figure it out.
I couldn't understand why our "leaders" had not seen it coming.
But then, funny thing, the Economy has been the issue that has made America realize that "Joe the Plumber" is not the answer - Obama is the only answer.

I wondered why McCain could pick someone like Palin.
Now I'm beginning to see that she was the right pick --- for us.
The wind was at the back of Obama and us again.

Think about all the little things that have "gone his way" and it is really amazing.

Example -- the 30 minute Commercial last night,,, they said that it would ruin the start of the Baseball game, no it did not.

Example --- The Gov. of Florida, a Republican, extended the Voting Time!

22. How weird (and serendipitous) for you to say that - I was talking to
my best friend last night and I said to him (half jokingly) 'This could be the start of the Age of Aquarius'. Weird, huh?

9. For a second, I thought they were playing Reagan's "Morning in America" spot. However...
... it soon has substance. Wow, what a piece! WHat makes it resonate is Obama's honest character.

12. He's been in charge since that meeting with fellow congressman at the White House.....
.... where he reportedly put McCain in his place (and McCain whined "he yelled at me!")

It was clear coming out of that meeting that the democrats were CHOOSING to defer to his leadership, and the Republicans were forced to.

So our old addage, "Chill out .... I've got this!" is true in more ways than we can possibly know.

15. I keep saying he reminds me of the way the Michael Corleone
character in the Godfather transformed from young innocent to ruthless leader of the party. Only he's a good guy.
