Take your fucking "infomercial" and shove it up your ass!
Edited on Wed Oct-29-08 07:01 PM by 11 Bravo
MSNBC, CNN, FoxNoise, and others are referring to this evening's address as an "infomercial". An infomercial tries to sell you a fucking kitchen gadget! This is the next President of the United States speaking to the citizens whom he will govern both wisely and well. Take that "infomercial" bullshit, fold it 5 ways, and stick it where the sun don't shine!

1. Obama is trying to sell himself to America which is what he is supposed to do
He is, after all, being hired complete with resume by the American people to do a job

4. I sold broadcast media for over twenty years and a :30 mintue block of time is
often refered to as a infomercial... They are correct in calling it this.

5. Just sour grapes
I imagine the mainstream media is just overwhelmed with the loss of power they're experiencing, first with Internet sites coming up that are better at spreading a wider variety of news and opinion and now with a candidate who can raise so much money that he can go right around them to speak directly to the people. It was a wonderful way for Obama to let people know who he is and what he plans for the country, unfiltered by the talking heads with all their built-in biases.
