I'm already having problems downloading DU threads and posting so election

a full 60 seconds from the time I click on reply til the page comes up. Same thing with anything else I click on within DU. Every other webiste I go to is screaming fast. I am going to be so disappointed I won't be able to come here Nov 4.

...and I always have problems posting on heavy traffic nights. It won't let me start threads, but I can reply to someone else's!
It's been doing this for months now.

and then I get the problem-loading-page message, and then after about ten minutes, it goes fast again.

I'm ready for them to do whatever they have to do to get this back to a reasonable speed. Avatars don't matter at a time like this.
