You Do Realize That McPalin Have NO DAYS LEFT To Turn It Around, Don't You?
It was today or nothing.

Today is over. Obama won the news cycle with his disarming remarks about socialism and his continued lead in the polls.

Going into tomorrow, he will have a BUMP from his 30-minute infomercial that will negate any gains McPalin hopes to make. Tomorrow is Thursday.

That leaves Friday, which happens to be Halloween. People are going to be very preoccupied.

The weekend will be a smorgasbord of sporting events on the TV tubes. The general public will be very distracted from the campaign as the NFL season begins to tighten into the part of the season that determines the playoffs. Plus, the NBA season just started.

Monday is a wash - the story the day before ANY election is the final flurry of activity as the candidates run hither and yon.

There is just too much going on for McPalin to effectively seize the attention of the public and to break through. AND, polls show that 93% of the public has made their decision on their vote for president (and the solidifying polls confirm this to be true, all of which favor Obama).

McPalin is out of time, out of money and out of the running.

Go Obama!

6. I'm starting to feel concerned
My fear is that there's going to be a lot of people who suddenly chicken out and vote for McPalin.

I just read a brief rundown of what happened on Election Night 2000 and it brought back terrible memories.

11. Assuming you're not a troll, answer me this:
How many staunch Republicans crossed Party lines in 2000 to endorse Al Gore? Rs like Colin Powell, Ken Adelman and a host of others have done to endorse Obama? Where were the polls in 2000 6 days before the election? Who in 2000 was on the guard for election fraud?

Things change. This year is different.

16. Oh, for crying out loud!
Edited on Wed Oct-29-08 07:13 PM by AnAnonymousDemocrat
You know, I'm really sick of the fact that I can't say ANYTHING that questions a Democrat without being called a "troll" by someone here. What - are we all supposed to walk in lockstep together? I would suggest that you take a half a minute and search a member's posts before you start throwing around tired labels like "troll". If you searched my posts, you'd see that I'm in total agreement with the majority here at least 90% of the time.

So I guess I'll respond to you in kind: Assuming you have the capacity to understand that we don't have to agree with 100% of the majority here 100% of the time, you're right. Things look very good, and Obama will probably win.

Please forgive me for having an independent thought and expressing it out loud. :sarcasm:

I'm sorry for having a shred of doubt. How silly of me.

I've cleaned up my act, and I now predict Obama will win all 50 states. What? You doubt me? :sarcasm:

14. i still see shadowy figures racing through schools, churches, community centrs
all over the country to fix voting machines to give McClain two votes for each one received from an Obama supporter.

i see swarms of rabid bats under the direction of a hair-on-fire Karl Rove roaming the countryside, descending to mangle would-be voters.

The Hockey Demons from "Dogma" will be unleashed soon, breaking the kneecaps of those who fail to please Vader.

i know, it's sick. i can't sleep thinkking they're going to steal another one.

23. Over 1.6 MILLION Floridians have already cast Early Ballots, Another MILLION absentee Ballots....
That represents about 35% of the voting totals from 2004. On pace to eclipse 55% of the TOTAL votes in 2004 by the time Early voting ends Sunday night.
