Who out there remembers the 1992 Presidential Race, Bush (41) vs. Clinton?

Who remembers the Clinton conspiracies?? The Clinton "Body Count"? The accusations of drug running, shady real estate deals, etc. The death of Vince Foster, and accusations that Hillary Clinton had a role in his death. The on-going drama of "Whitewater", which went on for years and found....nothing. The accusation the press and courts were bought off by the Clintons. The constant stream of lies, slander, and sheer hatred from the far right for the entire Clinton family, down to their daughter. The constant refrain that Clinton was going to bring socialism to the United States, that his trip to Moscow as a college student was proof he was a communist agent working to overthrow and bring down this country.

Remember all that? Some of the biggest names on the far-right got their start Clinton bashing. Rush Limbaugh. Sean Hannity. Jerome Corsi, just to name a few. Sites like "Free Republic" got their start on the developing World Wide Web. Newsmax and World Net Daily got their start Clinton bashing.

To this day you'll find people on the right that believe deeply and absolutely, with almost a religious conviction, that the Clintons are murdering masterminds. That they run drugs, etc. They know that Vince Foster's death was no accident. No amount of truth will convince them otherwise.

Sound familiar? It should. Because that's what's happening with Sen. Obama right now. And in many cases by the same players.

And, as a result, we have people now that firmly believe, deeply and absolutely, with almost a religious conviction, that Sen. Obama is a stealth Muslim, he's a drug dealer who murdered his gay partners. That he was involved in shady real estate deals, his birth certificate is fake, he's not even a US citizen. That Michelle Obama called people "whitey" on a video tape, that tapes of her saying her husband was an Indonesian citizen exists. That judges and reporters have been bought off by the Obama attack machine. That Barack Obama was fathered by a radical black communist, he was trained in a radical Islamic madrassa, this trip to Pakistan is proof of his Islamic terrorist ties and lack of citizenship.

About the only thing they haven't done is attack his children. Yet.

Same script, same attack plan. And in many cases, the same people doing it.

Oh they have allies and/or unwitting dupes. A flock of loud quasi-Democrats like "Riverdaughter", Lynn de Forrester, Heidi Li Feldman, "TexasDarlin", Darragh Murphy, (well, maybe not her, since she's actually been a long-time McCain supporter), and others who professed an undying love and support for Sen. Hillary Clinton that has lasted past all rationality and against the stated wishes and desires of Sen. Hillary Clinton herself

Their regard for Sen. Clinton is so extreme - and their hatred of Sen. Obama so intense, that they are not only actively helping and supporting the very same people who spent the last 16+ years attacking the Clinton family, but they are using the exact same tactics of slurs, slander, lies, myths, and falsehoods that were used against the Clintons. Hell, the lawyer who's trying to pimp the birth certificate and citizenship myths is an outspoken Clinton supporter who tried since March to get Sen. Obama to step down or be thrown off of ballots. And yet he's suddenly buddy-buddy with Rush, Michael Savage, Fox News, Jerome Corsi, etc., etc.

The far right must be laughing their asses off at their PUMA allies. The far right loathes and hates Sen. Clinton, to the point that Sen. McCain joked about Chelsea Clinton being the child of Sen. Clinton and Janet Reno. They have demonized Sen. Clinton - and let their allies this election season are a batch of people who claim to respect and support Sen. Clinton. They must find this hysterical. Especially when you realize that, if Sen. Clinton had won the primaries, those very same people the PUMA's are so kissy-kissy with would brushing off every single slur and attack they used against the Clintons in the past.

To the far right-wingers, remember this - you tried this for all eight years of a Clinton presidency. It didn't work then. And it sure as hell won't work now.

And to their PUMA allies, you're judged by the company you keep. Do you think Sen. Clinton wants the support of those who pal around with the people who attacked her and her family, and use the same tactics that were used against her ?? Remember Sen. Clinton talking about that "vast right-wing conspiracy"??

Guess what? You're part of it now. Aren't you so proud of yourselves??
