I've never seen a campaign so demographically monolithic.

5. NOPE Not a damned thing....
He couldn't have done anything else to alienate and completely disrespect EVERYONE of color, though.....

Real fucking thorough in that regard.

6. Not really
They made a feeble attempt to reach out to Asians here in Northern Virginia but that has mostly failed. My sister works for an Asian American Voting Organization and she says that McCain's campaign has never sent representatives to their events while the Obama campaign always sends a staffer. The disparity is pretty obvious. Outreach to Latinos and African Americans is just as dismal here.

14. Obama didn't give up on any demographic, not even the blue collar white pundits said he couldnt win.
Obama fought for all demographics.

7. I hope not
Blacks, hispanics, indians & asians make up 25% of the electorate. I hope his dumbass hasn't and if so I hope Palin's thinly veiled bigotry has driven them all away.

8. Creepy scare ads in Espanol over Latino radio networks.
Unfortunately for them, after their bigoted performance on immigration over the last couple of years, combined with completely ignoring the Latino population at the RNC, and plenty of dog-whistle racism, few are buying it.

Obama? Si, se puede!

happily,
Bright

9. He put a racist on the ticket
And has klan campaign rallies. McCain/Palin's idea of reaching out to people of color is reaching out with a noose to put around our neck.

13. a person of color at a McCain rally would be hearing the "N word" and other slurs.
I can't imagine they'd leave the rally feeling cheerful. But from the videos and pictures, republican non-whites have the sense to stay home.

11. Yeah, Palin said her favorite Joe of all was "Jo Mama"
I saw her saying that insipid joke to a crowd on TV. I'm sure that went over really big with Hispanics.
