All this talk about redistributing wealth! Has anyone noticed the price of food, household items? Has anyone noticed how people are losing their homes and jobs? It's the GOp's fault.

All Palin and McCain are worried about are their big donors losing money.

1. I'm afraid I can't get excited by dreams of redistribution -- I may be poor, but --
I'm single, I have no kids, and I don't own a home, so I know NO-ONE (Repub or Dem) is ever going to redistribute anything my way.

2. yeah, single and childless equals screwn!!11!!1
You're on your own.

Nah, Barack will give us a little taste but I weary of being a sort of 2nd or 3rd class citizen. I guess its time to settle down so that I can afford to live. One income is getting pretty tough.

4. My daughter came up with an idea to reduce our power bill...
to allow us to drop the temperature in our home and save money.

She bought some electric blankets for the couches and chairs in the living room. You sit in the chair and it's warm. Cover your body with a blanket and it's toasty.

Her research showed that running an electric blanket on high uses about the same amount of power as an electric light bulb. (She may be wrong, but her idea will save money if you can drop your thermostat by several degrees.)

Of course if this idea catches on there might be a shortage of electric blankets.

Come back if you have any other ideas that work.

6. Sure, but I don't think an electric blanket will help...
but there are some other electric devices that I would like to try on the executives.
