Jonesing for my nightly early vote report

I am a little concerned that Rachel showed us polling that suggests that already voted responses are essentially splitting the vote (This was a poll asking respondents who had voted, who they had voted for). How can that be? I thought we were supposed to be piling up a big lead here.

Anyone? Has 538 weighed in on this? Phrigen whatever your name is?
