MLK - We Shall Overcome (Youtube) Speech - Keep In Mind As You Wait To Vote
We have heard stories about long waits to vote, as well as GOP efforts to challenge, suppress or intimidate voters. When confronting such suppression, we should keep in mind how precious our right to vote is, and how hard the folks before us fought to protect our rights to vote. When voting, please keep in mind the struggles of the past, and remember that the words of community organizers and leaders like Martin Luther King continue to hold true even as the GOP establishment continues its efforts to disenfranchise of these rights.
