1. It was pretty good wasn't it! Made perfect sense!
McCain is in deep in his own territory and he keeps outwitting himself and his campaign! I am expecting at least one more major gaffe.....it's coming.....

2. I'm not into sports at all but I liked it.
Maybe people who are clearer on football can give their more informed opinion of how well a case she made for the analogy. But it seems a pretty nice untraditional breakdown of the race.

3. I think fans, and I am one, loved it! And see, she didn't try to
overwhelm anyone with the game of football, but what's happening 'on the ground'. Ha! Very clever, I thought.

5. She undersold the analogy.
Politics is even more territorial than football.

In football you often see 100 yard plays. Not usually, but generally more than once a weekend in a full NFL slate.

It will be a lot of elections before you see D.C. go Republican.

And she also should have introduced the concept of territorial polling.

Other than that, I didn't really care for the "red state"/"blue state" hypothesis behind the analogy.

9. I loved it.
I loved seeing all those red helmets on McCain's side of the field playing defense.
