1. When I worked for Hearst, they gave us election day

as a holiday. It was kind of cool. The company I work for now would never do such a thing.

5. I told my boss I'd be taking the day off

to vote and then volunteer to drive people to the polls. He told me he'd pay me and to throw in an extra hour. Great guy.
