"A Palin associate defended her, saying that she is “not good at process questions”

WTF are "process questions"???

http://mudflats.wordpress.com/2008/10/26/will-the-real-rogue-please-stand-up/

Several McCain advisers have suggested to CNN that they have become increasingly frustrated with what one aide described as Palin “going rogue.”

McCain sources say Palin has gone off-message several times, and they privately wonder whether the incidents were deliberate. They cited an instance in which she labeled robocalls — recorded messages often used to attack a candidate’s opponent — “irritating” even as the campaign defended their use. Also, they pointed to her telling reporters she disagreed with the campaign’s decision to pull out of Michigan.

“Also, she is playing for her own future and sees herself as the next leader of the party. Remember: Divas trust only unto themselves, as they see themselves as the beginning and end of all wisdom.”

A Palin associate defended her, saying that she is “not good at process questions” and that her comments on Michigan and the robocalls were answers to process questions.

2. Just questions where she has to think
She can't process information and coherently answer a question. She is incapable of it.

3. Ya know,
the kind where you process the answer before you blurt out a bunch of disjointed phrases.

4. Which means she can't follow a process.
Which means she is unfit for the office she is seeking, as government is generally a process-oriented sort of endeavor. There! It's all so simple. :-)

10. Any questions where she has to exercise a thinking process

Any questions written specifically to elicit responses of canned teleprompter utterances are fine, however.

14. I've been telling "undecided" friends and family this...
..."do you want a soundbite, or do you want explanations of substantive policy?"

A few of them? Their eyes glazed over. The majority? "I want the substantive policy." So I told the policy folks: "Pay careful attention, then, and see who gives it to you."

The great news? A sizable majority of the folks who wanted something substantive are voting for Obama. Works for me! :-)

5. Process questions: Those that require "thought".....
in other words.

What other kinds of questions are there?????

The idea that this woman has a future in politics is laughable. The more people have learned about Palin, the less she is liked. Someone thinks that process will reverse? :eyes:

7. You just asked two rhetorical questions
I believe that would be unfairly difficult for Palin to process. You posed more than one question plus you were not really seeking answers to them.

You're just messing with her, man!

9. WTF "process questions" are
I'd be worried about a VP/potential POTUS who was "not good" at them cause they kinda sound like they might be important. I mean, why would somebody defend her over something that isn't that important, right?

13. A good way to think of concept-words, in this case "process question"...
Is as identified by 2 things:

1) Their *circumstances* of application - ie under what conditions you apply the concept, and
2) Their *consequences* of application - ie, what follows from applying the concept.

Without going thru details and examples, it's clear that what a "process question" here means is:

a) Any question that Palin can't answer well (circumstances of application), and
b) We are not to hold it against her (consequences of application)

Clearly asinine, of course - it's just a helpful model of thinking about concept-words is all.

For details, google "boche dummett".
