"We've got a first-class political team, and that's why we're going to win."

They must have a first-class political team ready to steal this sucker away! I'm scared, guys.

"We are going to show the pundits and the pollsters that they are wrong," he said defiantly to cheers at a rally on an athletic field in Glenolden, Pa., where a light but steady drizzle turned his view of the audience into a sea of umbrellas. "We are going to win this election ... . Now it's up to what the American people think."

"Save your wrath for those faithless Republicans and faithless Democrats who wrote me off about two months ago, because we're going to show that rathole we are going to win this election."

GREAT! McCain is going to fucking steal it, guys. He's going around the country proclaiming he's going to win this thing. What are we going to do?

Wait, what?

These comments aren't from McCain?

They're from Bush Senior in 1992? Really? You don't say...interesting.

So wait, how'd that election turn out?

8. Me too!
One thing I have hope in most of all, is that there are SO MANY people turning out for Obama. The whole 'they're going to steal it' meme is getting harder and harder to hold on in the face of the numbers.

blood in the streets would be putting it mildly.

10. You should add an underline to the Bush Senior part
"They're from Bush Senior in 1992" so people don't go away thinking John McCain said that.

To add underline, put a "u" in brackets before the phrase and a "/u" in brackets after the phrase.

12. I wish I could clone a thousand of Bruce Willis
and send them all to Iraq and Afghanistan to give the Jihadists something to shoot at besides real American Patriots.

Fuck him.

14. Don't all losing politicians pretty much say this
same thing? Of course they do,right up until they give their concession speech. No politician would ever say (nine days out no less) "looks like were going to lose,my friends".

15. Excellent post!! There is no way McLiar can just go to these rallies and TV interviews
and say, "Well, folks, we're nine days out, but we're done. We're cooked. We've failed miserably, more miserably than any campaign in history. And, not only have we failed, but we've done it while the other team is having their best performance ever. We look pretty bad. Thanks for your money and for your time, but you can all pack up and go home now. That's what we're doing. We just need to decide which home to go to."

HE HAS TO ACT LIKE HE HAS A CHANCE!! Yes, on MTP he said he "guarantees" a victory, but later today he also said, "...IF we win..."

This man has lost his queen, knights, bishops, rooks, and all but one of his pawns, while his opponent is a well flanked king with knights, bishops, a queen, and a team of pawns heavily on the attack. It is all but over, but McLiar cannot lay himself down and bowout before the match is declared complete. Tick, tock, tick, tock, tick, tock....
