I stopped at the Burger King in Jackson to get a late lunch after a meeting in town on Friday. Jackson is small enough that there is one Burger King, etc. in the entire county. Like so many such places in so many towns the entire service staff is Hispanic - younger folks in the jobs that require English, older folks turning out the food. I was wearing my Obama fleece jacket. While I was ordering the young woman behind the register kept staring at the red, white and blue logo.
After she'd given me my change she grinned and said "Obama, he's the man." and offered me a 'terrorist fist bump'.
As I stepped down the service line to get my order the other half dozen people working at the counter echoed her endorsement. The older folks in Spanish, but all with big smiles and in triumphant tones.
The chances of carrying Wyoming's 3 EV's for Obama are vanishingly small, but, you know, that's completely offset by the enthusiasm of those folks here who support his candidacy.
Si, se puede!!
