Poll question: What will your attitude be after election day?
Edited on Sun Oct-26-08 05:25 PM by Connonym
If we win how will you act to those right wing bastards who rubbed our noses in W's 2004 "win"?

1. I'm going to grin ear to ear
and if someone asks why the big smile, I'll say guess.
They will probably know.
Nov 4th is also my husbands birthday. I hope he gets a really good gift!

23. Few things could possibly wipe the smile off of my face,
Our CEO is a Democrat, and since it's a small enough company, I may go and high-five him.

And then, I'm going to have to work my ass off, and avoid DU. 'cause I been slackin' big time.

8. Well, I'd tell them that I believe the country actually needs at least...
two viable parties. It's up to them to get their act together and offer us something different, something respectable -- more than just fear, divisiveness, filibusters and generally tearing the country apart. Until they can do that, however, I'll be content to see them sitting on the sidelines in the "penalty box" as their just reward for truly screwing things up for far too long.

16. Depends on what happens.
If we win I'll be too happy to be bothered with rubbing anyone's nose in it. If we lose I'll be inconsolable for a while.

"You see my husband and I are going to divorce so we can both get gay married and open an abortion clinic in our basement. In our spare time we're going to pry the guns out of the cold, dead hands of every single NRA member."

Then I'll laugh and laugh and laugh.

28. I am gonna wear my Obama button, and I'm gonna fly my flag outside my house.
Edited on Sun Oct-26-08 09:20 PM by gauguin57
I live an an apartment complex that won't allow campaign signs. But an American flag suddenly appearing on the first day of "President-Elect Obama" will be just fine. And I'm gonna be nice and polite, because I have bumper stickers on my car and I'll be wearing a button, and that means I'll be representing Obama. So I'll be nice.
