It just doesn't add up...
Ok, so I'm sitting here watching MTP, and they put up the polling numbers for which candidate America thinks will be better on;

Health Care-..........Obama +39
Economy-..............Obama +21
Housing Crisis-.......Obama +21
Taxes-................Obama +14
Iraq-.................McCain +5

Yet the Corporate Media is giving us a margin of barely 10% between the two candidates?!?

Nuh-uh.

When we break it down to the nitty-gritty, people are overwhelmingly in favor of Obama. But we keep getting the "it's a close one Bob." reports from the M$M. Why? Because it's harder to engineer poll results when dealing with specifics.

There's something fishy going on here. The funy part is saying that as though it's news. :eyes:

3. just because someone may admit that
Obama is better on an issue, doesn't mean they will vote for a Democrat. Or a "Barack".

4. Yes, but we have here a situation where MANY Republicans
and very FEW Democrats are enamored of Republican leadership these days.

I'm VERY skeptical of any poll that doesn't reflect this.

You are right, of course... people can be just plain fucking stupid.

5. The Main Stream Media publishes polls as advertisements, not to convey information to the public
The MSM needs a close race to keep people tuned in so they will see the advertisements for fast food and soda pop.

A close race in the polls is also easier for the Republicans to steal.

Everybody needs to get out and vote.

Vote Obama

6. We have been deceived for quite some time by the corporate overlords
that control the media and the falsified information spoon fed to us.

Of course 'we' does not include the brilliant minds at DU and similar havens of intelligent thought and discussion. ;)

7. Perhaps a Reverse Bradley Effect
The thought has crossed my mind that in the South and battleground states and red rural areas of blue states, the vote may turn out to be a wider spread in favor of Obama than the polls; perhaps even the widening of the spread in the polls is already starting this cascade.

9. A small but significant percentage of the electorate
will vote for McCain SOLELY because he professes to be anti-abortion, even though they freely admit that Obama is 'better' on just about any other issue.
