So why are the Bushies not defending Georgie from McCain's attacks?
Edited on Sun Oct-26-08 03:44 PM by Mark E. Smith
You could hear a pin drop at the White House these days. Not a peep in defense of the
Dauphin d' Bush. Certainly not how they dealt with such things in the past,

My guess? They know that if McCain loses there will be nobody of consequence
willing to defend Georgie from investigations and prosecutions based on the findings
of those investigations.

I guess you could call it the Bush "beat me" defense.

What do you think?

2. Oliver Stone released a highly critical, largely grotesque portait of our Prez last week...
...and amazingly enough, no one on either side of the aisle seemed to care. It's MIND-BLOWING how unpopular he is.

3. Part of the Bush McCain deal 8 years ago, kiss Bush's ass for 8 years & Bush

will support McCain's presidency completely, give em Rove, electronic voting machines stealing the elections and all...Even allowed to trash Bush he was told, if it helps keep the presidency in republican hands....

But it seems to me little Bushie really is a prick, and is fucking old McCain over, subtlety, but good every which way...it's the Bush's family inside joke...they are having great laughs at McCain expense.

Now McCain is fighting back....too little, too late!

Even republican McCain should of known better, NEVER trust a republican, ever, especially a Bush!

4. "Taking one for the team?"

Maybe?

Bush et. al know that McCain somehow needs to distance himself from him and his failures. We know McCain can't realistically do it at this late stage but I think Bush is still enough of a "team player" to know letting McCain/Palin punk on him a little bit is what HAS to be done to prevent Obama from winning and, possibly, from uncovering everything that he, Cheney, Rove, et. al have been up to for the past 8 years. That's my theory anyway. Either that or Bush just doesn't care about anything at this point and is just ready to pack up and head back to Texas in January.
