Murdoch and Ailes are conservative, but they first and foremost worship at the altar of the almighty dollar. If Republicans were wiped out from top to bottom, Fox would be in the position of being THE mouthpiece of the opposition, which might get them increased ratings and notoriety.

Don't forget that Limbaugh was at the apex of his popularity when he had Clinton in the White House with a Democratic Congress (1993-94).

Don't be surprised if FOX starts to "moderate" their harsh coverage of Obama in the next few days to make that happen.

3. I think FOX may suddenly become the biggest Democratic sychophants on TV...
...stranger things have happened. After all, Texas was once a reliably Blue state.

5. An Obama win is the best thing for the Republican Party, so sure.
McCain winning would be the opposite of pulling off the band-aid quickly.

6. I think that many republicans fear a mccane victory because
of the huge problems our next president will inherit . I think many will just stay home.

7. I think they fear re-regulation of telecom....
...if they don't, they should. The Big Dog didn't see the bigger pic when he signed the Telecom Dereg act in '96. My sincere hope is that congress (along with President Obama) will open a can of Theodore Roosevelt on their asses and bust the media trusts!

8. I doubt it
People will tune them off. They will become increasingly marginalized.

9. It's all about selling soap ,always has been, always will be;
Fox will still have an audience of malcontents drinking the kool aide, just as Limbaugh did during the Clinton years. They're not going to go away.

11. Fox Will Not Bite The Hand That Feeds Them!
That's the thing that pisses me off the most about those phonies! As we all well know faux isn't about the news, they are all about the money. They will go wherever the money is the bastards. Mark my word.

12. They said they fear the Democrats will bring back the "Fairness' Doctrine
and have pushed that story all day long. Said the fairness doctrine is unfair to big money
or some nonsense. So, no they don't want Obama to win. They also said to pay attention to
the AP bogus poll and the Nickelodeon poll because 'they' were more accurate.

Faux then put a poll up on their website which asked : Do you think polls are inaccurate and unscientific?

I normally don't watch Faux but lately I have to see their spin and meltdown.

13. I know one this, for sure. Chris Wallace must have renegotiated
his contract and added a clause..."I will not, under any circumstances,
be told what to say and what to not say. I am a journalist and will
speak on the words I want to speak."
