purging voter rolls, etc. I don't care. Even the LIHOP stuff. A vote is a sacred thing and it is high time our laws reflect it. I bet if folks at Sequoia really thought they could go to jail for (oops!) forgetting to mail 10,000 ballots -- it would never have happened. From voter intimidation in FL to the BS homeland Security lockdown in Cuyahoga county in 04 -- none of it would happen if people knew there was a good chance they might be serving some hard time.
