I feel so guilty taking 3 days off volunteering for Obama
I need to do life stuff. Makes me wonder what in hell I'll do once he is elected, I am so used to planning my day around volunteering.

Who in hell does he think he is expecting me to help with his business? I'm shutting him off after this, I swear.

8. Don't feel guilty, I feel guilty.
I volunteered every day last week. Yesterday I volunteered to canvass for the first time. I hated the way the lists were set up and spent most of my time driving around the block, looking for addresses.

Anyway, know what a bonehead thing I did? After I finished my first street, I started on my second. My daughter lives at the end of that street, so I stopped there, she's on my list. Went to the bathroom, sat on the couch a minute to take a break and promply fell asleep. They let me sleep for over an hour and by the time I woke up, it was too late to start again.

I was embarrassed to turn in my list. :banghead:

11. I've had numerous life events
Illness, injury, work. I'm grateful I live in a blue state right now, and in a retirement town with massive volunteers. I'm going to hit it hard this week, to get the ballots in. But it does the campaign no good if you let your personal life go down the tubes. We're going to have to keep working to convince people that the changes Obama wants to make are the right ones.
