5. why aren't her kids in school?
shouldn't they be? aren't obama's kids in school in chicago? for someone who has teachers in her family, she doesn't seem to put a premium on education, which is not too surprising considering she is so ignorant

But it is still surprising that someone with teachers in her family puts so little value on education and knowledge

22. They are home schooling just not from home.
Finding out how to locate Saks using a GPS, getting cosmetology lessons from mommy's makeup artist and acquiring frequent flier miles for use in 2012.

O ... M ... G ... from someone (Palin) who claims she is pro-life, and she can't be bothered to keep track of Bristol's baby? The baby she claims to want special govt. (socialist) assistance for? :eyes:

27. Instead of spending $150,000 on clothes, maybe the RNC
should have spend a fraction of that money on a babysitter for poor Trig, since his mother can't seem to keep track of him.

Maybe she left him on the bus.

I still consider outrages about her children to be ridiculous and petty.

18. Outrage with regards to her other children perhaps.
But a loud rally is no environment for a newborn. Neither is such a hectic unstructured lifestyle. When it comes to that poor baby it is justified outrage.

21. A Loud Rally Is Perfectly Fine For A Newborn.
Like I said: The complaints are overly petty and ridiculous in nature.

I hate noselifters.

28. Not really.
Beyond the overload of sensory input, a child with Down's Syndrome is much more prone to infections - particularly chest and sinus infections. Cold season, anyone?

Sorry about the noselifting. :eyes:

24. Nobody is outraged AT her children. They're outraged that she uses her children
Edited on Sun Oct-26-08 11:48 AM by Phx_Dem
as political props. Particularly, carting her infant (special needs or not) into loud, noisey, late-night public rallies.

If Palin chooses to trot her kids out as props, people has every reason to question her judgement and comment on her actions. No one is commenting on the children's behavior or looks. They're disgusted with the way she uses her kids -- Piper used as a shield against booing at a hockey game (this from Palin's own mouth). It's not the KID's actions that people are disgusted with, it's PALIN's actions.

If she hauled off and slapped her kid in public, would that be off limits for discussion because they're her children?? I don't think so.

31. The outrage is with how the adults use the kids. Not about the kids.
If you used your kids in a negative way, I'd be outraged about you also.
