Brokaw's a shit...
So after a disastrous appearance by his fave MLame, he goes on the offensive with his minions...it's like the Joker in Batman:

1. Obama broke his word on public financing. Bullshit.
2. Implied that Obama's undermining the post-Watergate reforms
3. Almost forgot Charlie Cook's name...got lucky and remembered it

At the end of MTP every time he has to shill for the Republicans who sign his paycheck. Recall that "In all fairness, polls show that..." crap?

2. he's a dutiful media contrarian. Most importantly... he just DESTROYED mccain
I have no problem with him playing provocateur in the pundit session.

besides, i think he's 100% right to imply that americans arent happy with thsi idea of a mega-majority in congress.

I think it's stupid that the dems are pushing that idea.

4. Brokaw did a pretty good job questioning McCain
this morning, and throwing his own words and deeds back at him.

It doesn't bother me too much when he pushes back against the pundits. When all of them are saying the same thing -- McCain's toast -- someone has to play devil's advocate just for the sake of fairness.

5. Doesn't matter

As if campaign financing would have prevented the Palin debacle or the defection of respected Republicans.

No, Obama is the better man by leaps and bounds and no amount of attempted "fairness" by the MSM will change that.

People know the candidates now, nothing the MSM says can change that.
