I've got Obama holding all of Kerry's states, and adding Iowa,

New Mexico, Nevada, Colorado*, and Virginia,

--with a reasonable-to-good chance in Missouri, Ohio, North Carolina, Florida,

--and (maybe) Indiana.

Unless John McCain has a particularly flashy final trick for his so-far pathetic campaign, it's looking like a pretty good evening for the blue team a week from this Tuesday.

bawling like babies by the end of the evening. I doubt we will ever forget any moment of the last 8 years as long as we live. We have now had our defining moment - much like our parents/grand parents who lived through the Depression and WW2.

I hope we will be remembered for fighting this damnable group of criminals and that eventually they will all end up in prison.

4. If current polling holds, it is likely to be an emotional night.
When the historians are busy making entries into the history books our children's children's children will read in their school classrooms, THAT is an important night.
