Rocky Horror politics

I went to see the stage production of Rocky Horror Picture Show tonight. I had never seen the play, only the movie. And it was fabulous. They have updated it for its 35th anniversary. And they interjected some politics into it as well.

At one point in the beginning, when the narrator is on stage, he says "it's true" and from the audience came "Is it true you did a 3 way with Sarah Palin and a moose?" And the narrator said "Yes and it was hard to tell who was hornier"

At another point, the stage lines were "It's over" and then "what's over?" and from the audience "the presidency of George W Bush"

At the end, as one of the actresses was ending her song and leaving stage, she turned around and said "YES WE CAN!"

The audience loved it.

As we were leaving, we asked the ushers if they assumed everyone in the audience was liberal and they said "We don't really care" :)

They were also selling buttons. One of John McCain with 'ASSHOLE' on it and the other with Sarah Palin and 'SLUT'.
