Think about that.

That's a PARTY folks.

NM's population: 1.9 million

Considering the share is of all residents, including infants and the elderly, infirm, and incarcerated, its remarkable.

14. was every person at the rally an NM resident?
Don't folks drive in from border states (correspondents fly)? I mean when a million march in NYC it doesn't mean ~12.5% of the population hit the streets (not including the Great power failures, which were more like gigante block parties).

15. Plenty of us there from Santa Fe, Belen, Rio Rancho...
...Espanola, and I talked to a woman from Ruidoso-- which is a good 2.5 hour drive from ABQ. And, no, Albuquerque isn't really near any state border, and the estimate didn't include the press who came with Obama.

However, the rally was on the UNM Campus, so likely there were some students there who aren't New Mexicans. UNM does draw some out of state students. Though not that many.

Allowing for that, I'd say two percent of the voting population of New Mexico was probably there tonight.

Wow. I didn't think about that when I was there, but... wow.

amazedly,
Bright
