1. and the ones that make more
probably don't mind paying a little taxes on their income. I know if I were in the 250k + bracket I sure wouldn't complain, much less wake up in the morning and wonder:

"why even bother getting out of bed - I made 250k already this year, and every $ more I make is just going to have taxes taken out of it anyway!"

4. The ones that make that much aren't actually doing any plumbing themselves,
I suspect. They have minions of low wage people doing the plumbing work for them.

6. Union plumbers have competitive wages and I suspect would
not accept the title of "minions."

It's really up to us to educate the populace. When the middle class has enough money to spend, the small businesses of America will have the money to hire and pay more workers.

7. Minions = hordes where I come from - it's a numerical descriptor, not a title.
I have had employee plumbers complain to me aboout their shitty pay when working for some of the bigger plumbing companies in my area.

3. cool - but wasnt the Joe line - "I want to buy a business for $250,000"
Isnt that the real quote - the cost of the business - not its earnings...?

5. no - gonna buy a company that makes over 250,000
He tells Obama he’s "getting ready to buy a company that makes more than $250,000 a year. Your new tax plan is going to tax me more, isn’t it?”
