DENVER - Due to the high number of mail-in ballot requests and a desire to maximize voter convenience, the Denver Elections Division is adding Sunday, October 26 in two locations to our already extensive early voting schedule.
Early voting on that Sunday will be available at both the Elections Division, located at 3888 E. Mexico Ave., and in the atrium of the Wellington E. Webb Municipal Office Building at 201 W. Colfax Ave., from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
These will be the ONLY locations open for early voting or mail-in ballot drop off on Sunday, October 26.
"I am 100 percent committed to voter convenience and that's why I decided to add Sunday early voting at these two locations," said Denver Clerk and Recorder Stephanie O'Malley. "That way, any voter whose schedule makes it a challenge for them to early vote or drop mail ballots during the regular days and hours may still have a chance to do so."
More than 174,000 Denver voters have requested mail-in ballots to date. Voters are being encouraged to take their time filling them out, but are also asked not to wait to the last minute to return them if they have already made their choices.
