Asking "Is this a joke" when she brought up comparing Obama to Marx was rather polite in my estimation. He could have turned the table on her and asked her what she was inferring with that question. Then when she claimed it was something 'voters' are concerned about he could have insisted to know what voters she was talking about because none that he had ever talked to mentioned any fears about Communism and he could have insisted that she explain how Obama's policies are Marxist. He could have taken umbrage (all with a smile of course) at the innuendo that Obama is anti-American. He could have taken the opportunity to slap the pro-McCarthy label on her (because that's what she obviously is) Then when she can't come up with examples, because there aren't any he could have told her she really needed to be better prepared and know her history references so she could ask more knowledgeable and germain questions.

All with that great grin, laughing with that twinkle in his eye. I can visualize her ending up looking even more thin-lipped and sharp-nosed like she was sucking bitter lemons.

And I'm sure he thought these exact things because he did wonder out loud who wrote her questions.

I have two thoughts:

First, even after watching this, I do not believe in the death penalty for annoying pseudo-journalists. If courts would sentence them to something similar to the scene in A Clockwork Orange, and force them to watch this clip over and over, I am satisfied.

Second, and far more important, I am impressed with Senator Joseph Biden. While no politician is "perfect," he is definitely the best choice to serve our nation as President Obama's VP in the next 8 years.
