Go Rogue, Sarah, Please!
http://campaignsilo.firedoglake.com/2008/10/25/will-it-be-palin-vs-mccain-in-the-campaigns-final-days/

It looks like there may be trouble in paradise:

Four Republicans close to Palin said she will disregard the advice of the former Bush aides who handle her.

Even as John McCain and Sarah Palin scramble to close the gap in the final days of the 2008 election, stirrings of a Palin insurgency are complicating the campaign's already-tense internal dynamics.

Four Republicans close to Palin said she has decided increasingly to disregard the advice of the former Bush aides tasked to handle her, creating occasionally tense situations as she travels the country with them. Those Palin supporters, inside the campaign and out, said Palin blames her handlers for a botched rollout and a tarnished public image — even as others in McCain's camp blame the pick of the relatively inexperienced Alaska governor, and her public performance, for McCain's decline.

"She's lost confidence in most of the people on the plane," said a senior Republican who speaks to Palin, referring to her campaign jet. He said Palin had begun to "go rogue" in some of her public pronouncements and decisions.

Please go rogue, Sarah! Don't let them hide you away from us. You're better than they are, by miles! Stop letting them tell you what to do. You know best, after all. Go on Meet the Press. Start taking questions. Do The View. Tell us what you REALLY think. I'm begging you, Sarah. DO IT!

4. She's well past the digging stage

At this point, the only use she has for a shovel is to fill in the grave into which she pushed the McCain campaign.

3. She should be asked at every stop: Where'd You Buy THAT outfit?
Because, her serious assertion in the push-back on Hannity was:
She had clothes for 3 days at Minnesota Convention and the REST are HERS that SHE & Taaaaaaaaaad bought in Alaska!?!

:wtf: :silly: :silly: :wtf:

5. Maybe the McCain campaign can make Troopergate stick if it gets out of hand
Nothing like taking down one of your own from within. That would be a perfect cap to this horrid campaign.

yesterday or the night before. MSNBC. But, today she seems to have been put back on point, more or less, parroting MacMaverick more closely. That's pretty difficult because he sputters and false starts and misspeaks, and generally sounds like an old phony. With her delusions of grandiosity, she won't be able to stand still. I love it.

...I'm more curious than anything just how far she will go. That's the question that keeps me tuned in.
