2 Votes for Obama!

Yesterday was the last day to register to vote in Nebraska, so I created an email with links & info on where to go to register, what time the elections office was open, and the elgibility requierments in NE that you must clear to be able to vote - and then I sent them out to everyone in my email list who lives in NE (about 90 people).

I got an email back from a friend that I see every 3 or 4 months. She & her boyfriend got my email, and read it... and realized that her boyfriend COULD vote. He was convicted of a felony for burglery when he was 19, and thought he could never vote (someone had told him that once). They read my email and saw that in NE, you can vote 2 years after you complete your sentance & parole. He's well past that now... 34 years old.

So, my friend & her boyfriend went to register yesterday on the very last day, and then they voted early at the same location. 2 votes for Obama that we wouldn't have had!
