The "B" Girl And The Perpetrators Who Burned Down The Reichstag
Edited on Sat Oct-25-08 08:49 AM by DemocratSinceBirth
What's the difference between the "B" Girl deliberately hurting and mutilating herself and blaming it on an African American to foment racial hatred and torpedo Senator Obama's presidential campaign from a white backlash any different than the Nazis burning down the Reichstag in 1933 and blaming the Communists thus ushering in the era of Hitler...The only difference I see is that the Nazis were successful...

7. They are both examples of a passive-aggressive RW tactic
of self-inflicted damage.

Ashley Todd is the smallest example, 9/11 is the biggest example (although not exactly self-inflicted it was facilitated by Bush-Cheney and their associates as to be close enough to fit that definition).

8. Thank You For Discussing The Historical Analogy And Not Me
I am sure there are other incidents of political parties creating negative incidents and blaming the opposition to discredit them...

13. Yes - put simply it's called a "false flag attack".
Reichstag - blame the Jews and the Communists
9/11 - blame Saddam
Todd - blame big black Obama supporter (and by implication Obama supporters in general)

15. Interesting
just looked it up, hadn't heard of that one.

Another alleged Russian false flag was of course the '99 Moscow apartment bombings which were blamed on Chechnya.

9. Fear and discord is the tool too many in history have used.
People who engage in this know what they are doing. It has always been a tool of tyrants or tyrannical rule. This should not be allowed to be swept under the rug. And also, the crimes of this current administration should not be allowed swept under the rug either. It is dangerous serious business.

10. She Was Inept
What if she was more skillful and it took longer to uncover the hoax?

How much more media attention would it have received?

12. Who Knows How It Would Have Affected The Campaign?
A rational person isn't going to blame one member of a race for the actions of another member of that race but there are enough irrational people who make that nexus...
