I have to admit, I wasn't on the Obama ban wagon...I was torn...not wanting to just vote for him b/c he was black, but finding myself honestly liking what he had to say...I read his books, I read McCain's...I listened to them, not the news...'THEM'. I watched them during the debates, during the financial crisis. I like how this man has handled himself. I am a democrat, but I vote for the candidate I think is best. I don't understand why people are saying the republicans that have crossed party lines are not true republicans...why not? Why can't they just be voting for who they see is best? Isn't that what McCain said he did 'went against his party time after time?'....isn't that his campaign slogan...that's why he's the 'Maverick'? I think all politician's lie...maybe not lie, but stretch the truth to get elected. For anyone that says he is anti-american, you couldn't be more wrong...For those of you who say he's a liar, what has he actually lied about...McCain keeps talking about him not 'telling the full story'....does the man want to give him an enema? What more does he need to know? And if he thinks there is more...he's the "maverick" how come he hasn't enlightened us all? Is he holding back, just as he is holding back on the how to catch Bin Laden?

I grew up in a very diverse culture, my parents never taught me hate, and I wasn't raised to hate anyone of any color...and I am proud to have this man express those same views...to finally say it...to finally acknowledge the elephant in the room. He's 'Black' america, get over it, move on...
